The Dyer County Football team suffered a terrible defeat against the Mustangs on October 18th, 2019. The Mustangs beat the Choctaws with a score of 46-28, causing DCHS to lose their winning streak. The Choctaws scored nothing during 1st quarter while the Mustangs gained 26 points. During 2nd quarter, the Choctaws earned 16 points and the Mustangs scored 14. Neither one of the teams scored any points during third quarter,  leaving the score at 40-16. The Choctaws then tried picking up the pace by scoring 12 points while the Mustangs only gained 6. Though they scored more than the Mustangs during fourth quarter, it wasn’t enough to bring in the win.
