Saturday (2 November) the Dyer County High School JROTC won the annual New Madrid Seismic Zone Air Rifle Conference Championship for the third consecutive year.  Hickman County High School JROTC finished second while Farmington High School finished third.

The top shooters were Shelby Rogers (1st) from Dyer County High School, Kaylee Garcia (2nd) from Dyer County High School, Michael Roberts (3rd) from Dyer County High School, James Smith (4th) from Hickman County High School, and Cameron Cheeves (5th) from Hickman County High School.

The Dyer County High School JROTC Air Rifle Team will compete in two matches Tuesday (5 November), in the Spring, they will compete in the State Championship in Nashville.
