Apple Watch Series 6 & SE
October 2, 2020
Apple released the Apple Watch Series 6 on Friday, September 18, 2020. The Apple Watch Series 6 will cost about 400 dollars. You can get the Apple Watch Series 6 in the same colors you could get the older Apple Watches in, but they also added red and blue to the colors that you can get for the Series 6. Apple really focused on health with the new watch. The Series 6 can take readings on your blood oxygen levels and check your heart rhythm. The ECG app on the watch can indicate whether your heart shows signs of atrial fibrillation, which is a serious form of irregular heartbeat. The always-on retina screen is now two and a half times brighter than the Series five, and with the new S6 chip it is 20% faster than the S5 chip that is in the Series 5.
Apple also released the Apple Watch SE on Friday, September 18, 2020. It is a cheaper alternative to the Series 6 and will cost about 250 dollars. It has health-related apps in it, but health isn’t as heavily focused on like it is in the Series 6. The key difference between the Series 6 and SE is that the Series 6 has blood oxygen testing, has an always-on display, and has the S6 chip. The SE has the S5 chip and besides not having the health benefits and the always-on display the SE is a more reasonable price for you to get an Apple Watch because everything else is virtually identical.
