Top 5 Places to Eat in Dyersburg

Mike’s Rib Shack:
Do you like good quality barbecue? If so, you should take a trip to Mike’s Rib Shack in Dyersburg. If you don’t know where that is, it’s in the same parking lot as the Shave Ice Barn. You may not be able to sit down at a table and eat since its a food truck, but trust me, once you get a plate from Mike’s it’ll make you want to eat it in the car on the way home so you don’t have to share! Everything i’ve ever gotten here has been absolutely delicious; from their pulled pork and baked beans to ribs so tender that they fall right off the bone! They also have other options such as barbecued bologna and pulled pork nachos. If you’re having Christmas dinner and you don’t feel like cooking that ham yourself, order it from Mike’s! There’s no better place for good taste.
Sake/Shogun:
I realize that this is two restaurants, but there’s a reason for that. I’ve never met anyone who doesn’t like Japanese/Chinese food. If you’re more of a buffet person, Shogun is for you! Not only do you have options upon options to choose from at all of the food bars, but you can even put together your own stir fry and have it cooked for you! If you’re not feeling the buffet, you can also go to the other side of the restaurant and eat hibachi. I’ve always found it pretty cool to have your food cooked right in front of you. If you’re a hardcore sushi lover, then you should go to Sake! They have several different sushi roll options; and when I say several, I really mean countless, because I can’t even count all the rolls that they have.
Los Portales:
I can safely say that Los Portales may very well be the best Mexican restaurant in Dyersburg. I know some of you out there LOVE Mexican food, so if you haven’t yet, give Los Portales a try. They have the best guacamole out of all the other places; it actually has the pico de gallo in it. I grew up coming to this restaurant, and they’ve always had good quality food. I can’t say i’ve ever had a problem here. Plus, they have Coca Cola, so no one will ever ask you “is Pepsi okay?”
Chick Fil A:
If you’re looking for a restaurant that has quality food and hospitable employees; and also gets your food to you in a timely manner, you should consider taking a trip to Chick Fil A. Most of us have been here at least once, but if you haven’t, you should change that! They may not have burgers, or some other menu items that other places do, but trust me, once you have Chick Fil A’s spicy chicken sandwich, you’ll forget all about the Mcrib. They also carry healthier options such as salads, grilled chicken nuggets, and fruit. You’ll never find a restaurant with more polite employees, I promise you.
Cracker Barrel:
If you woke up today craving some good ole country food, then what are you waiting for? Get dressed and go to Cracker Barrel already! Not only do they have an incredible supper menu, but their breakfast menu can motivate the crankiest of people to get out of bed in the morning. Sometimes you want good quality homecooking, but you don’t wanna make it yourself. I’ve been there, and Cracker Barrel’s got you covered. From fried chicken and green beans, to steak and baked potatoes, they’ve got all the southern not-at-home home-cooking you could possibly want. They’ve also got a gift shop, so you can browse while you wait, or go shopping after you finish your meal.
