Bermuda Triangle Theory

The mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is one of the most talked-about theories when there is a disappearance at sea. The Bermuda Triangle got famous for all the sailors and pilots that came through the area. This spot is referred to as the Devil’s Triangle because of the people vanishing and never coming back. With time passing and more people being victims to the Devil’s Triangle it would start to get people to think about what is causing this phenomenon. There would be many theories that would come from these disappearances, so let’s look at some of these theories.
The most popular of all of the theories is that the reason why many people were vanishing without a trace was that aliens were taking them to a base of some sort. This would become a popular theory with people with blogs, and many would believe that this is a reason that people are disappearing. The logic that the people use to explain this is that the Bermuda Triangle is a gathering area, and the aliens are using this area to capture the sailors and pilots to conduct research. This theory would start with an entry in one of Christopher Columbus’s log. “ The land was first seen by a sailor called Rodrigo de Triana, although the Admiral at ten o’clock that evening standing on the quarter-deck saw a light, so small a body that he could not affirm it to be land; calling to Pero Gutierrez, groom of the King’s wardrobe, he told him he saw a light, and bid him look that way, which he did and saw it. He did the same to Rodrigo Sanchez of Segovia, whom the King and Queen had sent with the squadron as comptroller, but he was unable to see it from his situation. The Admiral again perceived it once or twice, appearing like the light of a wax candle moving up and down, which some thought an indication of land. But the Admiral held it for certain that land was not near…” When people look at this they believe that this was the first sighing of aliens in the area of the Bermuda triangle.
The second theory that people believe in is that there is a wormhole that is located somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle which takes people to another world, so they could no longer return to our world. People started to believe in this theory because once ships and planes went missing once they were in the area people started the search for the missing people, and once they got into the area the people were gone and there was no trace of any crashes of aircraft or any sunken ships. An event in history that would make people believe in this theory, even more, is the day that Lt. Charles Taylor and the other pilots that the lieutenant was traveling with went missing. This would happen on the 5th of December in 1945, and this day would end with a conversation between Lt. Taylor and Lt. Cox, in which Lt. Taylor would tell Lt. Cox that he was lost and his compasses were off. There would be a search 5 days later and when they were searching the crew and Lt. Taylor vanished. This is why many people believe that they were sucked into a wormhole never to be heard from or seen ever again.
The third theory which is not as crazy as the theories I mentioned before this one is that the reason for a lot of these “disappearances” is human error. The first thing people talk about when discussing this position is that Lt. Taylor was often known as a drunk pilot when he went on flights. People also have said that Lt. Taylor would often get lost when he went on flights, so when they vanished they maybe went off course and crashed somewhere else which was not in the area where the search took place.
