Dyer County played two games at the Crockett County Jamboree on Saturday morning, they started off the morning strong with a 2-0 victory against Haywood County. Three players scored in the game (0-1), Emilee Delashmet, Kezie Deere, and Lexie Hendrix. Dyer County(2-0) allowed zero goals and zero shots on goal.

They followed this up with another great performance winning 2-0 against Gibson County. Emilee Delashmet scored her second goal of the morning in the first half. During the second half Coach Williams subbed in most of his JV resulting in another goal coming from freshman Kaylee Arguello in the closing minutes of the game.

Overall the biggest takeaway from the two games is the passing and team chemistry that looks to be the team’s strongest aspect and one they hope will bring them successfully into their next game, a scrimmage against Covington on August 10.
