Easter seems like such an odd holiday to celebrate with friends right? It seems like on the Easter holiday you always spend time with just family, but in all reality, you can spend Easter with your friends just as much. So what are some things to do on Easter? Things listed below are teen friendly things to do on Easter that may interest your friend groups.

  •  Decorate easter eggs. When you were younger you may remember boiling eggs, and dyeing them, or coloring on them. Consider bringing this back! You never get too old.

  • Bake easter bread. Easter bread is essentially a tradition surrounding the use of bread during the Easter holidays. Traditionally the practice of eating Easter bread or sweetened “communion” bread traces its origin back to Byzantium and the Orthodox Christian church. The more you know:)

  • Eat easter candies like Jelly Beans, Peep marshmallows, Cadbury cream eggs, Chocolate bunnies, etc.

  • Go Easter egg hunting. Use the eggs you boiled and decorated to put out in the yard and go hunt for them!

  • Dress in cute clothing and attire. Consider wearing pastel colors on t-shirts, blouses, dresses, paired with khakis and strappy sandals.

  • After dressing up nice, have an aesthetic easter photoshoot. Use props like plastic easter eggs, easter baskets, spring flowers, balloons, stuffed bunny rabbit animals, chocolate candies, etc.

  • Cook a traditional dinner with family and friends. This may include ham, side dishes like mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, salads, and to top it off,  desserts.

I’m hoping these few ideas will help make your Easter holiday more enjoyable! Happy Easter!
