Dyer County football senior Adarius Liggons has chosen Carson-Newman University as the place he wants to play next fall as he signed with the Eagles on Thursday afternoon. 

“I am blessed and very excited to be able to play football at the next level,” Liggons said, “I have put the work in for this moment and it just feels great knowing I am moving on to play at the next level.”

Liggons explained why he chose the Eagles, “I chose Carson-Newman because when I went for my visit it just felt like home to me, and all of the coaches showed me love, I also feel like I could be a great key player for the team.”

The Dyer County receiver was named to the All-region team, was selected to the West Tennessee All Star team, and was a Coach AB Davis award recipient.
