How to Play Baseball
Baseball is one of the most popular sports in the world and many people have a passion for the game. Baseball was introduced in 1846 and has been a national pastime since then. The first game of baseball was very different than the baseball we see today, probably because they used rocks and sticks. Baseball is arguably the most difficult sport of all sports, but many could argue depending on if they like baseball or not. Baseball is a game of inches and is more of a mental game than a physical one. Many kids start playing baseball at four to six years old but they really don’t know the greatness of the game and how to play it. So how do you play baseball? It is a little confusing but you should understand it.
First, you are going to need the basic, a glove. Get your glove and put it on your non-dominant hand. Your non-dominant hand is probably the hand that you are not as coordinated in. Only 25 percent of Major League Baseball players are left-handed, so if you are left-handed you have a shot at being a good player. Many people teach their children to be left-handed because it is rare in baseball and some may think it is an advantage. After you get your glove on your hand, go find a ball. When you get the ball, you need to practice up against the wall by throwing the ball and catching it with your glove. If you have someone who could throw with you then that is even better. Throw and catch for as long as you want to and try to catch as many as possible.
