Dyer County baseball won 7-1 against Obion County on Saturday. DC opened up the first inning when Patterson hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run. Evans earned the victory on the mound, he went 7 innings allowing one run on 6 hits, and struck out 9. The Choctaws had 9 hits in the victory. The Choctaws advance out of the District tournament and are scheduled to play the championship game on Monday vs. Dyersburg or Obion.
