Tom Brady is one of the most well-known athletes. No matter if you like football or not, most people know who he is. He has always been a family man and has been married to Gisele Bundchen for 13 years, until just recently calling it quits. This came about after this summer when Brady announced his retirement from football but then took it back and decided he wasn’t ready to be done with football. This caused a lot of drama between them, and a little while later, the world saw they were having issues. They didn’t announce they were getting divorced until late October. 

     The divorce all came about because Tom is 45 years old and still playing football. He has three kids who are still at home and with him playing football; he really doesn’t get to spend much time with them. Gisele thought it was time for him to retire, but he obviously wanted to play more. This season, his team is 6-6, which is not the best record Brady has had, but he is still playing the game he loves. He has said in press conferences that he has no plans to retire soon. Maybe he will prove Gisele wrong and win another Super Bowl, but he had to lose his family to do that. He is one of the most well-known and most successful athletes to ever live. He chose football over family.
