Although winter can be cold and miserable at times it comes with a lot of fun things to do! While we usually don’t get much, if any, snow here in Dyersburg, there are several winter activities within three hours of us for all people to enjoy. Here is a list of several things to do close to us!

• Mid-South Ice House- This place offers ice skating in a very large oval rink. It costs $12 per person. It is located in Olive Branch, MS. To get there it is about a 1 hour and 45 minute drive. It is tons of fun, even if you fall down a lot.
• ICE- ICE is at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, TN. It is a walk through activity full of ice sculptures based on a different theme or movie every year. They provide parkas to keep you warm and you can roam as you please to admire the beautiful ice artwork. 
• Snowboarding- In St. Louis, MO they have an indoor snowboarding facility. Their employees teach you how to properly snowboard and they provide goggles, helmets, boots, and boards. It is one the more expensive side of activities but is very worth it. It is also only about a 3 hour drive.
