Ben Shelton shot his first-ever hole in one on September 7, 2020, on hole thirteen at Pickwick Landing State Park. The shot was in a practice round leading up to the team’s regional tournament. He said “I was excited when it happened as I have never had one. I played really well that day and I was hoping to continue that performance that day to our regional tournament.” On the day he shot a 73 on a par 72 which was a personal best for him on that course. He played really well as he hoped he could continue that performance in the regional tournament.
