Thanksgiving Football Recap

Ryan Larson

Thanksgiving day football didn’t go the way they planned for a couple of teams, however, for other teams it went just the way they wanted it to go.

The first game we are going to talk about is the Bears and Lions game.  This was a close game and really came down to the wire.  However, Andy Dalton and the Bears barely squeaked by winning the game by a field goal.  They ended up winning the game 16-14

The next game is the Raider and the Cowboys.  This was one of the more exciting games of the three and it went into overtime.  Both teams were about evenly matched in both the rush game and the passing game.  However, when it came down to overtime and the Raiders ended up kicking a field goal to put the game in overtime and winning the game.  The Raiders won the game 36-33.

The final game we are gonna talk about is the Saints and Bills game.  This game was less than exciting if you are a Saints fan like me, however, if you are a Bills fan it was a good night.  This game was never a real competition for the Bills easily leading 10-0 in just the first half of play.  They extended the lead 24-0 in the 3rd quarter.  The Saints didn’t score until the 4th quarter and it was just too late.  The Saints defense and offense was just not there in the game which helped the Bills win 31-6
