NBA Playoffs 2022-2023


As the 2022-2023 NBA season comes to an end, the playoffs begin. The road to the NBA playoffs has been loaded with crazy moments and lots of controversy. As of right now, however, the teams left are the New York Nets, Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Philadelphia 76ers, Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Arizona, Golden State Warriors, and the Los Angeles Lakers. The conference finals begin tonight at 6:30 with the Celtics and 76ers battling to make it to the Finals. All eyes however are on the Lakers and the Warriors due to the superstars Lebron James and Steph Curry. 

However, the Grizzlies, though eliminated in the first round, got caught up in lots of controversy. One of the controversies coming out of the superstar Ja Morant. Ja was suspended for a period of the season after acting “gangster.” This action got him scolded by the media and fans all across the country which forced him into apologizing and taking a suspension. Another controversy to come out of the Grizzlies was Dillion Brooks. Dillion Brooks was ridiculed by the media and viewers after calling out Lebron James and over-excessive trash talk. This ridicule led to the Grizzlies making a statement on the situation. The Grizzlies ended their contract with Dillion Brooks and told him he was “Never coming back under any circumstances.”

Though more excitement is to come, the NBA playoffs kick back off today and we will see which team can overcome the challenges and become number one.
