The Dyer County Soccer team kicked off their season last Saturday against Fayette Ware. They won 9-0, and mercy ruled Fayette in the the first half. Goals came from Corey Piskorski (2), Jaycob Johnson (2), and Luke Williams (5). The Choctaws then traveled to Crockett County later in the week to take on the Cavaliers. Crockett County won 6-0, shutting out the Choctaws the entire game. The 4-5-1 formation from the Cavs proved to be too much for DC, as they were beaten mostly by Crockett’s strong midfield play. The Choctaws will play Jackson Northside April 1st in Jackson.
