The Atlanta Braves are in the World Series to face off against the Houston Astros. The Braves won their division, the National League  East to go play in the post season. They were playing in the first round of their post season against the Milwaukee Brewers. against the Brewers the Braves won three games and only lost one in a series of the best of five. The Braves dropped the first game against the Brewers, then won the next three straight. With the help of new pick ups Eddie Rosario, Joc Pederson, Jorge Soler, and Adam Duvall, the Braves have been slugging their way through the post season. With both the Brewers and Braves being solid teams and division winners, the Braves were able to out play the Brewers and move on to play the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were undoubtedly one of the best teams in baseball all year long. They had gained more star power with the acquisitions of Max Scherzer and Trea Turner. The Dodgers high powered offense and loaded pitching staff had carried them through the regular season and helped them to beat their division rivals, the Giants in the post season to move on to play the Braves. But the Braves were prepared to play them and they ended up winning the series four games to two. Now the Braves are in the World Series to play against the best team out of the American League, the Houston Astros. If the Braves can win this series, it will be the first World Series Win in twenty six years.
