With the IEM Katowice Play-In Bracket finally underway, many teams have actually already had their fates decided. Some teams have been sent home, while others have actually qualified for the group stage of IEM Katowice. The 13th-16th spots have claimed MIBR, Renegades, Sprout, and Wisla Krakow. While the 1-4th spots have been claimed by OG, Astralis, FaZe, and Copenhagen Flames. The 5-8th and the 9-12th spots yet have still to be claimed by teams still active within the Play-In Bracket.

Day 1 saw NIP beat Wisla Krakow, Copenhagen Flames beat fnatic, MOUZ beat GODSENT, FaZe beat Sprout, OG beat Renegades, ENCE beat Entropiq, BIG beat Movistar Riders, and Astralis beat MIBR. Day 2 saw the Upper-Quarter Finals in which, Copenhagen Flames beat NIP, FaZe beat MOUZ, OG beat ENCE, and Astralis beat BIG. All of these teams that won their matches in the Upper-Quarter Finals automatically qualify for the Group Stage at IEM Katowice. All of the teams that lost in the Opening Round were sent to the first round of the Lower Bracket, while the teams that lost in the Upper-Quarter Finals were sent to the second round of the Lower Bracket. 

Day 3 saw the first round of the Lower Bracket take place, where fnatic beat Wisla Krakow, GODSENT beat Sprout, Entropiq beat Renegades, and Movistar Riders beat MIBR. Today, the Best-of-3 matches in the second round of the Lower Bracket take place. These matches take place between BIG and fnatic, ENCE and GODSENT, MOUZ and Entropiq, and NIP and Movistar Riders. The teams that win their matches today qualify for the Group Stage of IEM Katowice 2022. While those that lose their matches today will go home empty handed.
