Kinder Eggs Linked to Salmonella

Kinder Eggs Linked to Salmonella

Maddie Warren

The company Ferrero has had to recall their Kinder eggs in several countries across Europe just before Easter. The United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands have about 100 salmonella cases altogether that have been linked to the chocolate. All of the cases are youth 18 years and under with over half being children under the age of 5. The products have been recalled, but the company says that none of the products tested were positive for salmonella. The company does sell products in the U.S., but no cases have been reported here.
