Dyer County baseball will be hosting the district tournament on May 6-9. The Choctaws have only lost one district game this season and have been on a tear as of recent. In their last game, the Choctaws defeated Regional opponent Brighton 15-0. On their Senior night, the Choctaws hosted and defeated another Regional opponent, Munford 10-7. The Choctaws will play Crockett County, the 4 seed, in the first round on May 6th. Obion and Dyersburg will play in the 2 and 3 seed game, Obion being the 2 seed. Dyer County will be looking to ease on into the Regional tournament if winning or placing second in District this week.
