Loaded Teas ~Are They Worth The Money?

You may see people walking around everywhere holding a beverage in a clear plastic cup with a decorative, unique, sleeve. What are these you may ask? These are one of the biggest things nowadays, they are known as loaded teas. Loaded teas may consist of instant powders with nutrients, caffeine, flavors, aloe juice, and multiple other options. Loaded teas are claimed to help with your digestion, suppress your appetite, aid in weight loss, metabolism boost, mental clarity, and a performance booster. But is 8 dollars a drink actually worth it? Is all of it just a scam? There are many, many controversies of people with the opinion that they are great for your health, but there are also controversies saying that it’s a waste of money and is harmful to your health. If you type in loaded teas on your google search bar, many websites will pop up saying “Negative ways teas will contribute to your health”, but is this true? Are they really that bad for you?

Personally, I really enjoy loaded teas. There are many kinds of teas you can get, for example, hydration teas, specialty teas, beauty teas, etc. Personally, hydration and “regular” teas are my favorite. Hydration has no caffeine but it leaves me feeling very nourished and hydrated. “Normal” teas which are mainly just teas that have caffeine, flavors, and aloe juice, give me a boost of energy to last me through the day and I really enjoy that. Let’s compare their prices. Hydration teas cost a total of 5 dollars. Seems pricey just for some flavored water, right? The normal teas cost 8 dollars with the only difference being a liftoff tablet. Now does that seem like too much a simple beverage? In my opinion I think loaded teas are a little bit overpriced for what is in them. I personally think their prices should be between 3-5 dollars. Do you think that paying 8 dollars for a drink is reasonable? Or are we just brainwashed by the fact that the teas are supposed to “benefit” our body or appearances. I’ll leave that to you to think about! Meanwhile, I’ll still be drinking my 5-8 dollar tea:)
