Dyer County’s JV team beat Christian Brothers High School 4-2 to advance in the end of year JV tournament. The Choctaws out hit CBHS 5-4 and did not make any errors. Everett Kuykendall was on the mound for the Choctaws and only gave up 5 hits through seven innings. The Choctaws got beaten by CBHS by 12 runs earlier this year, but defeated them to knock them out of the tournament. The Choctaws will now move on to play the Collierville Dragons in the tournament. If the Choctaws lose they will be eliminated, but if they beat the Dragons the Dragons will be eliminated.
