The “Paranormal Pair” podcast is a podcast about haunted locations and the backstories of why they are suspected the be that way. We often trail off with humor to lighten the mood of our grim tales while also being informative. There is a variety of locations that we focus on and we upload once a week. This podcast is perfect for horror fans or those who just want to laugh. 

     The podcast’s first episode was very difficult to start at first.  After our first take, we decided to redo the entire podcast. The entire thing was very awkward and had many uncomfortable pauses that could not be edited without sounding choppy. Our editor had us pause for a bit to give us a few tips on how to improve our skills, such as letting us have a normal conversation before our second attempt at creating a good podcast. After a moment to calm ourselves and warm up, we tried once again. The second time ran smoother but not perfect of course, which was accurate for two first-time podcasters. We were able to better maintain a conversation, with fewer abrupt pauses in moments of confusion, and the recording process began to be much more fun than before.  

     In the end, our endeavors ended on a good note, and we were proud of our first-ever podcast. A few tips I would provide when making one of your own would be to make sure that if you have a partner, you two enjoy talking to each other, both in and out of school. An awkward podcast can make for awkward editing, making the job harder for both of you.
