As Halloween comes to an end, the candy I received has been bountiful. Here are my top picks based on what I have received.

  • Candy Corn

Candy corn has been a staple Halloween candy since the dawn of time. This candy may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s definitely at the top of my list. Candy corn’s name comes from the fact that it is made to look like an ear of corn. The soft-solid texture makes this candy a delight to chew on.

I give this candy a 10/10.

  • SnickersSNICKERS Singles Size Chocolate Candy Bars, 1.86 oz | SNICKERS®

Snickers chocolate bars will always be the first chocolate I pick when given the option. This candy’s caramel, nougats, and peanuts all covered in chocolate make for a good crunch with a chewy texture after. Even the bite-sized pieces never fail to disappoint.

I give this candy a 9/10

  • Hershey’s bar

Sometimes, plain chocolate is the best option. Hershey’s candy bars are often given out on Halloween in the form of mini-bites. Despite this, they are still evenly squared out, making these chocolate bars perfect for sharing in any size. I find this chocolate bar best for savoring, with the melt-in-your-mouth texture perfect for doing so.

I give this candy a 10/10.

  • M&Ms candy

M&Ms are perfect for even the smallest candy fans. These small bites contain so much goodness. I enjoy every type of M&M, this candy has the talent to make anything taste good. The crumbly chocolate shell does a great job of hiding the surprise that awaits, whether it be milk chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts, or brownies.

This candy gets a 9/10.

  • Twix

Similar to its Hershey counterparts, a Twix bar is perfect for sharing. This wafer with caramel covered in chocolate is perfect for any bad day. The crunchy-chewy mix is of course my favorite, making this candy bar a perfect candidate. A cookie mixed with chocolate is always a good idea. I give this candy a 10/10.

And there you have it, these candies have been the main highlights of my Halloween haul since I was old enough to know what it was. Happy fall!
