As stated in the previous article, the 48th ceremony of the People’s Choice Awards was held at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California on December 6, 2022. Here are our winners in the music category. 

     With nominees of Bad Bunny, Charlie Puth, Drake, Harry Styles, Jack Harlow, Kendrick Lamar, Luke Combs, and The Weeknd, the Male Artist of 2022 was awarded to Harry Styles. Female Artist of 2022 nominees included Beyoncé, Camila Cabello, Doja Cat, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, and Taylor Swift; the award was given to Taylow Swift. BTS won Group of 2022, with other nominees including 5 Seconds of Summer, BLACKPINK, Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Maneskin, OneRepublic, and Panic! At The Disco. “About D*mn Time” by Lizzo received Song of 2022 and Midnights by Taylor Swift received Album of 2022. Country Artist of 2022 was Carrie Underwood, Latin Artist of 2022 was Becky G, and New Artist of 2022 was Latto. BTS received Concert Tour of 2022, with other nominees including Bad Bunny, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga, and Luke Combs. 

     Miscellaneous awards, like Social Celebrity of 2022 and Social Star of 2022 were given to Selena Gomez and MrBeast, respectively. Kevin Hart: Reality Check was awarded Comedy Act of 2022 and Archetypes was awarded Pop Podcast of 2022. Lastly, with nominees of Chloe Kim, LeBron James, Megan Rapinoe, Nathan Chen, Rafael Nadal, Russell Wilson, Serena Williams, and Steph Curry, the Game Changer of 2022 was awarded to Serena Williams.
