How to make Peach Bread

How to make Peach Bread

Andrew Griffith

I run a bread baking business where I make custom orders and large quantities of bread. I started this business last school year (2021-2022) in order to make some extra cash for a summer trip I was going on. The first loaf I sold was the day after I had brought my bread to school for an end of school year food day. People tried the bread I baked and said to me “Could you make some bread for me?” That is how it all started. The next four days after that I sold over 300$ worth of product. The main bread I sold was Apple bread however, there is one that I also experimented with. The bread that came out of my baking with apples was peach bread. One day I was looking in my pantry and noticed that I had a can of peaches in heavy syrup and decided that It would make great bread. The reactions I got were very positive therefore, it became a staple bread of mine. With some minor tweaking to the apple bread recipe I was able to create peach bread!!!

  • 1 can of peaches in heavy syrup
  • 3 cups of flour
  • 1 tablespoon of Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  1. First off, drain the peaches into a cup to use later, then take the freshly drained peaches and pulse them in a blender for 1-2 seconds (depends on how small you want the peaches)  Then, put them aside.
  2. Add the sugar, eggs, oil, heavy syrup(from the peaches), and vanilla extract to a bowl and whisk til thoroughly combined
  3. Then, in a separate bowl, add the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and whisk it with a fork.
  4. furthermore, mix the wet and dry ingredients until combined and then add the peaches til they are evenly dispersed.
  5. Lastly, add the dough to two 9×5 inch pans and bake them at 300 Fahrenheit for 90 minutes.
