My experience at The Eras Tour

My experience at The Eras Tour

McKinley Barron

This past weekend I attended the Taylor Swift Eras Tour in Nashville. This was the most attended event ever at Nissan Stadium with over 70,000 people. She sold out the stadium Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The weather this weekend was up and down. Friday night it was cloudy with some rain. Saturday was 80 degrees and sunny. Sunday was thunderstorms. The concert was delayed around four hours, did not start till after 10, and lasted until almost 2 in the morning. The show itself is around three and a half hours long. Taylor puts on some of the most theatrical performances ever. She has so many details that go into it to make it a great experience for everyone

Taylor starts out by performing songs from her Lover album. The stage rises her up into the air. She has multiple dancers around her. She plays the songs Miss American and the Heartbreak Prince, Cruel Summer, The Man, You Need to Calm Down, Lover, and The Archer. She then transitions into the Fearless era. The stage makes a guitar image when she is in this era. She performs famous songs like Fearless, You Belong With Me, and Love Story. She then plays from her album Evermore which leads into Reputation. Reputation is one of the most fun albums she plays live. The details that go into it make everything so cool. The stage turns into a snake as this is a theme for the album. She performs her song …Ready For It?, Delicate, Don’t Blame Me, and Look What You Made Me Do. She then goes into Folklore. For this album, she has a house frame built. It looks like a cabin in the woods. Eventually, smoke actually comes out from the chimney. The stage is almost as long as the football field, making her more visible to everyone. She then performs her hit album 1989. This is arguably one of her most popular albums. She performs Shake it Off, Blank Space, Style, Wildest Dreams, and Bad Blood. She then performs two surprise songs every night on the guitar and piano. After this, a part of the stage opens up and she dives into it. The stage then shows her swimming to the front of the stage. To wrap the concert up, she performs her album Midnights. She concludes with her song Karma and confetti and fireworks shoot in the air.

Taylor Swift puts on a show like no other. There are truly no words to describe it. Even if you aren’t her biggest fan, her concerts are still the best and most enjoyable for everyone. She even performed to a sold-out crowd Sunday night after fans waited four hours for the weather to die. This shows how good her shows are. If you ever get the experience of going to her concert you should do it. Whether you are in the back or front row, it will be the time of your life.
