Mute

Mute

Her eyes lit up as bright as the sunshine

Her eyes glowing in the yellow light

Her tears fell with the rain

The clouds could always feel her pain

Her skin was white as snow

Trapped in a disaster, to never show

Her heart was getting as cold as ice

No one understood her sacrifice

Her smile, warm as spring

She loved all her rings

She smelled like flowers as she walked

Her steps echoed, though she never talked

Spending her time in the trees

The leaves slowly start disappearing

The wind picks up, and they fly around

But she stays silent, no peep, not even a sound

She’s seen darkness, dancing in the night

And she’s seen angels, that glow a bright light

Though she never speaks a word

Nothing people say, goes unheard

They call her ugly, they call her cute

They say she used to talk a lot, until she went mute
