1. It’s A Wonderful Life- It’s A Wonderful Life is based on a man named George Bailey who is thinking of ending everything, but an angle–Clarance– appears and shows him what life in Bedford Falls would be like if he wasn’t there. He gets a new perspective on life, and goes home to his wife and kids and celebrates Christmas Eve.
2. Elf- Elf is based on Buddy the Elf, a man who has spent his whole life as a human in the North Pole. He soon finds out that he has a father named Walter who lives in New York and works at the Empire State building. Buddy has a rough start, but he ends up having a happy ending to his story, and continues to live in New York.
3. Polar Express- The Polar Express is based upon a boy who doesn’t believe in Santa and on Christmas Eve the Polar Express wakes him up. He gets on the train and has a wonderful journey to the North Pole and makes friends and memories along the way.
4. The Grinch- The Grinch is about a green humanoid creature who hates Christmas. He tries to make Christmas miserable for everyone. And it’s very well known he has a heart that’s three sizes too small. The Grinch does come around and gives us a happy ending.
5. Home Alone- Home Alone is based on a boy named Kevin who no one in the family really cares about getting left home alone when the family is spending the holidays in Paris. Kevin gets pretty smart when two burgelers break into his house, he sets up traps that will land the two burgelers in jail.
